All Hands Clean

STERIS makes some of the highest quality hand sanitizers in the world, used in hospitals everywhere. Since Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) are way too common and can often be prevented with hand washing, they asked us to create a special campaign for their client hospitals and health centers that would encourage hospital staff and visitors to wash their hands. Not because they wanted to sell more product, but because it's the right thing to do for patients. The campaign had to be interruptive and memorable, had to have some stop value and work in a variety of environments from employee bulletin boards to posters hung in halls and lavatories. The clean hand is Chad's. And the work is still being used, with minor tweaks, years after its creation.
